You may have heard back in 2024 that Big Lots was closing its doors! Well, this is still true for some locations but they just found a buyer that is going to acquire between 200 and 400 Big Lots Stores!
Variety Wholesalers made a deal with Big Lots, Inc. to purchase assets, stores, distribution centers, and intellectual properties! Variety Wholesalers owns more than 400 retail stores in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic! Stores include Roses, Roses Express, Maxway, Bill’s Dollar Stores, Super 10, Super Dollar, and Bargain Town!
This sale will allow jobs to be preserved, maximize the value of the estate, and ensure the continuity of the brand Big Lots! This will also allow a new path forward to continue serving customers with an exceptional shopping experience and extreme bargains!
Big Lots is a great place to grab deals on home products, bedding, patio and outdoors, holiday decor, and so much more! I loved shopping at our local store and I am excited that some of the doors will be staying open!
