Kohl’s is Closing 27 Stores in 2025

The year has just begun and many companies have already announced that they are shutting doors in 2025! Kohl’s joins the list of stores that are closing!
Kohl’s will shut down 27 stores across 15 states by April 2025! These 27 stores are just a small portion of the chain’s 1,150 stores! The stores that are closing were all listed as underperforming and the goal of the company is to believe in the health and strength of the profitable stores!
They also announced that their CEO would be stepping down and being replaced by Ashley Buchanan, the current executive of the arts and crafts chain Michaels!

These are the only stores that have been announced by Kohl’s to be closing in 2025 and we have not yet heard if other stores will join this list! Thankfully my store is not on this list and will remain open for the time being!
