Winter Birthday Party Ideas

If you are like me and have a kiddo with a winter birthday then you know how hard it can be to come up with a fun party in the winter! Well, I am happy to tell you that winter birthday parties don’t have to be boring! There are so many fun ideas for all ages! 

Sleepover- 

Last year my daughter wanted to do a sleepover party set up like the one that is all over social media! We bought everything and it was under $200! It was such a huge hit that she wants to do that again this year! I love this idea because it can be used for so many ages and it can be themed in so many different ways! If you have a kiddo that loves gaming you can do gaming balloons, sheets, and pillows! If she’s super girly you can do all things pink! 

Arts and Crafts- 

Suppose your kid is more of the hands-on type host an arts and crafts party for them! This is super engaging and can be changed based on the age and interest of the child! You can grab an age-appropriate craft set for younger kids and lead them in making it! For older kids, you could make bracelets, paint your own pottery, or even paint a canvas! 

Chef Party-

For the kiddos who love the kitchen, a chef’s party is perfect! Again this one can be altered based on the age of the kids! For younger kids, this one will require the parent to be more hands-on! An easy idea is to do personal pizzas and let each kid create their own with whatever toppings they choose! For dessert make cookies and they can cook and cool while they eat pizza, then let each kiddo decorate their cookie!

Nerf Wars- 

If your kiddo loves Nerf then have all their friends bring their Nerf toys and have a Nerf war party! You can order foam darts on Amazon for pretty cheap and then set up teams to play each other! This one would be extra fun if you were able to use a school or church gym nearby for more room! 

Spa Party- 

If they are all about being pampered a Spa Party is perfect and so much fun! Have each kid come in their favorite pajamas and then have different stations set up like a spa! You may need to recruit a few other mom friends to help with this one! You can have nail painting, face masks, hair braiding, and so many other fun stations for this party! 

These are just a few really fun ideas that can be done to celebrate your winter babies! Just because it is cold outside does not mean that they can’t have the best party ever!
